Arnolda's first feature screenplay “Truthwalkers,” (previously titled 215 & Counting) was selected to be a live read at Vancouver International Women in Film Festival in 2023, and was a Quarterfinalist in GEMSFest 2024 International Screenwriting Contest. She was also a participant of the 2024 Whistler Film Festival as an Indigenous Filmmaker Fellowship.
“Kiskisôwina” (Michif for memories), is a short film revealing the forced displacement of the Road Allowance Metis in Saskatchewan during the 1940's. Her screenplay, “Nitânis” (Michif for daughter), is a feature dedicated to the lives of the many MMIWG who were taken too soon. Both of these projects are currently in development.
Gordon Tootoosis Nikaniwin Theatre has selected Arnolda as part of their New Voices Playwright Residency program for 2023. Honoured to be working as a Playwright Resident, she is excited for this new adventure and writing an adaptation of her book 20.12m.
Arnolda is entering the 2nd year as a Playwright Resident with GTNT and continuing work on the play adaption of Apples & Traintracks.
Arnolda also is in development of a community play promoting the Saskatoon Mother's Center.
